Stoner or not, I think we can all agree that nothing hits the spot quite like a fatty bowl of greens in the morning.
I get it, waking and baking isn’t everyone’s thing — that’s cool. Lucky for you, I have another way to grind up some greens and pack fatty bowl that’s guaranteed to give you a feel good high.
My latest Mermaid Munchies recipe is fully loaded with healthy fats and nutritious greens, then blended together with a splash of coconut water, for a replenishing zing of electrolytes. I also threw some mango, kiwi and banana in the mix, because why the hell not?!
But the secret behind packing the perfect bowl comes from a scoop of Siggi’s Icelandic style yogurt. This protein rich yogurt gives the blend a thicker consistency, leaving you with no choice but to ditch the straw and gear up for some major spooning action.
So here’s how it works:
+ 1/3 cup of coconut water
+ 5 oz Siggi’s vanilla yogurt
+ Handful of spinach
+ 1/4 of an avocado
+ 1/2 of a banana
+ 1/3 cup mango
+ 1 kiwi
Pack it up tight and blend until gooey-ooey.
Top with granola, fruit and a drizzle of honey.
